Mississauga has many parks of all shapes and sizes. Many are maintained by the city. The trail system seems to be more for recreation then commuting.
eParks, operated by the City, lets you find Mississauga parks based on amenities that they offer.
Please do not copy any information from eParks to Wikisauga, as eParks (like all City of Mississauga data) is not
open data.

Some major parks:
-
Fleetwood and Garnetwood Parks
-
Riverwood Park – this one is a real gem
-
Trails
-
Burnhamthorpe Trail is a nice way to cut across the city
-
Culham Trail is a long, winding recreational trail along the Credit River
Starting in October there are a number of places to enjoy the Fall Colours in Mississauga
Tip: The closing times posted at park entrances are serious. Using parks overnight may result in a ban. Kariya Park seems to be the most enforced.
