The Mississauga News is the flagship newspaper of the Metroland Media Group Ltd. chain of community newspapers. The News celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2005, The tri-weekly newspaper delivers more than 440,000 copies per week in one of Canada's fastest growing and most affluent cities.
The News is a perennial newspaper award winner, including best newspaper in Ontario and Canada on several occasions.
A separate edition is published Thursdays for apartments titled The Mississauga News This Week.
